I don’t know who needs to hear this, but you’re not nuts! The post-Covid circumstances in which we find ourselves are not normal, and you are under no obligation to accept a new normal. You are a sovereign human being, not a cog in a machine. Those who coin phrases like “the new normal” are intent on you accepting your circumstances and whatever ends that social engineers like the World Economic Forum have in mind. Whether it’s experimental vaccine passports, new economies, new philosophies, or Great Resets, your participation is voluntary. These social engineers are even intent on convincing you that their changes are for your own good and you’ll be happier by accepting this lot in life. What’s more, they intend to sell you on the idea that the planet’s very survival is dependent on your compliance. It’s not. You don’t have to accept these things, and you’re not alone. There are billions of us just like you that weren’t born into serfdom and have no intention of wearing those chains.
When I started writing it was my intent to speak up in a world that increasingly disapproves of dissent. A part of withdrawing consent is digging in your heels on matters of truth. Recommitting truths to print can be both cathartic as well as an act of opposition. I won’t rehash every episode of the twilight zone over the last few years, as the absurdities can be read in any of the surrounding pieces on this blog. That said, our circumstances seem to have escalated quickly in a few short years. The metaphor of the frog in the pot of boiling water comes to mind: accept minor accommodations a little at a time until you’re cooked. Or, you can decline participation altogether and live your life as you see fit.
With increasing frequency, sometimes it feels as though I am a spectator of a game and the world is the sport. I am a bystander recounting my observations here, but not an active participant in the game. In many ways, this is by design. Should I acquiesce and commit to being a participant, then I relinquish ownership of myself to a system that is bent on control and wholesale change. In the early months of the Covid-19 pandemic, there were nights I laid in bed and questioned what is real? Having seen movies like The Matrix or The Truman Show, the idea of reality as a simulation played over and again in my mind. It wasn’t just the presence of a pandemic that generated questions of reality, it was also the political response. There have been many pandemics in the past, but when have we ever sent sick people to assisted living facilities to quarantine with the vulnerable? When have we ever politicized readily available off-label therapeutic treatments and gone over the heads of practitioners to ban access to them in the absence of any alternatives? When have we ever shut down the entirety of society based on a high school science experiment? And when has questioning or criticizing the origin of the disease ever been a taboo subject? The response felt a lot like surrender without a fight.
A popular topic in modern conversation is gaslighting. Gaslighting is a form of manipulation whereby a person or group sows seeds of doubt in the mind of their subject in order to make them question their own memory, perception, or judgment. This is a common response to those who ask questions. Asking questions is tantamount to mental illness, and given the ever-expanding DSM-5, there is surely a diagnosis in there to explain your dissent? The topic of gaslighting in modern conversation finds its origin in the leftist lexicon. A good rule of thumb is that whatever the left is accusing you of, they themselves are. This is another leftist tactic known as projection. Pick your classification: Privileged, Racist, Homophobic, Transphobic, Bigot, you name it. Those who scream the loudest are typically that which they accuse you of. Is it any surprise that the majority of those screaming about privilege are upper-middle-class white people?
The latest social engineering campaigns are straight from the Operation Iraqi Freedom playbook of shock and awe. The intention is to throw as much adversity at you as possible to break your spirit. From pandemic to race riots, to a stolen seat of government, this is a game of chicken to see who will blink first. Given the current policies of unmitigated migration and reckless fiscal policy, do not be surprised if financial calamity looms on the horizon. Populations accept well more control in times of desperation, and the Covid-19 lockdowns bear that out. In the meantime, you can withdraw your consent to the social engineers by reducing your reliance on them. Prepare your households accordingly with emergency stores and create a plan for financial independence. Get plugged into a local support base within your community such as a Church, and then go about your lives as you always have. Though the world rages on around you, be your own calm in the storm.
